Helen holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, an MA in International Relations from the University of Warwick and a BA in Politics and History from University College, Dublin.

She was previously employed by Deloitte LLP, where she was a senior manager in sustainability and ESG, advising cross-sector clients on devising and implementing corporate ESG strategies (2019-2022). Prior to this, Helen worked with financial communications firm, Tulchan Communications (2017-2019). Helen held policy-focussed roles from 2012-2017, working as Senior Advisor to the Shadow Policing Minister in Westminster and as a consultant at Lexington Communications and GK Strategy.
